Structure Characteristics

  • Material: Usually made of high-strength metal materials, such as high-quality carbon steel or alloy steel. These materials have good strength and toughness, enabling the rod to withstand various tensile forces and impact forces generated during the operation of the ribbon loom, ensuring that the rod will not deform or break during long-term use.
  • Shape: Generally, it is a slender rod structure, and its length and diameter vary according to the model and specifications of the ribbon loom. The rod body is usually cylindrical, and its surface is finely processed to ensure smoothness and straightness, reducing friction and resistance during movement.
  • Connection Components: Both ends of the leading rod of the ribbon loom are equipped with special connection structures for connecting with other components of the ribbon loom. One end is usually firmly connected to the heddle (a key component of the ribbon loom that controls the movement of the warp yarn) through connectors such as bolts, nuts or pins, ensuring a secure connection between the two and enabling accurate transmission of motion and force. The other end is connected to the drive mechanism or other transmission components, possibly using similar connection methods or through special joints or couplings to meet different transmission requirements.
